Filming : Day 1

On the first day of filming I made the fatal error of leaving it till too late in the day to film. This was due to my 'actors' being and work and a few problems with the green screen. I managed to shoot everything I wanted to but the low light was proving to be an issue.

This is a still of the shot of Ryan (who was going to be hit by the car) standing against the green screen, as you can see the light was getting very dark and when I tried to key out the green on the screen It was proving to be an issue.
Another issue I was having was working out how to get the film to go from being a handheld shot to moving the green screen in without it getting in the way. I tried to resolve this issue by pausing the camera on something out of shot and keeping the camera in exactly the same spot so I could turn round and the green screen would be in place.

This was the shot I had planned to use to pause the camera on. Unfortunately I over looked the fact that when I rotated with the camera there would be parts that needed to be keyed out which then wernt on the green screen so this idea had to go.

The shot of the car was the final shot I needed to do. With the low light and time constraints it was proving more difficult than I had expected. The lights on the car however would have been good to have shining onto Ryan when he was keyed out in after effects to make the shot look like it was meant to be together.
